We again would like to thank our customers for their continued understanding and for focusing service escalations at the T1 and higher bandwidth service levels. We are pleased to update that further significant progress has been made over the past 24 hours. Verizon Core has now restored all IPC’s customer access bandwidth to their 104 Broad St. Central Office and Verizon Business is expected to complete restoration to this location around midnight tonight. As a result IPC has been able to complete restoration of a large number of customer services across multiple DS3 and T1 circuits associated with this Central Office. However the status of Verizon’s 75 Broad location remains unchanged and special redesign efforts may be required to enable full restoration of services from this facility. Verizon is currently assessing potential options available to enable restoration of services to this location. Also please note that a large number of customer access circuits remain out of service due to customer site power issues. We will continue to work aggressively to resolve customer issues through the next several days.
We have a full complement of technical, account management, and administrative support available to respond to any inquiries or requirements, including network rerouting, MAC processing and dispatch services.
