Michael Speranza is IPC’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy, M&A and Marketing, with responsibility for defining the IPC’s strategic plan, identifying emerging growth opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships and leading global marketing.
Most recently, Michael was Managing Director of the Trading Communications Solutions business and prior to that he was SVP of Global Product Management and Marketing.
Before joining IPC in 2003, Michael was Senior Director of Product Development at Avero, a TH Lee portfolio company focused on SaaS-based data warehousing solutions. Prior to Avero, Speranza was a consultant at Deloitte, serving the retail and consumer business sector with an emphasis on supply chain management and data warehousing.
Michael holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. As an undergraduate, he worked on two missions to Mars, including the rover, Sojourner, while working at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab. Michael is married with three children and enjoys woodworking, skiing and snowboarding, and golfing. And though he hasn’t made it to Mars, his passport is full of stamps from his extensive international business travel.
