IPC Announces Readiness to Support Singapore Exchange Data Center Migration

New York - September 15, 2026

SGX is relocating its primary as part of its infrastructure evolution to support future growth and performance requirements.

To support this transition, IPC has established connectivity to the new location, available from September 2026, enabling clients to seamlessly migrate and scale their trading and market data operations.

Comprehensive Connectivity for SGX Clients

IPC provides a fully integrated connectivity framework including:

  • Extranet connectivity for market access and participant services
  • Low-latency Ethernet connectivity, including colocation, domestic, and international options
  • Colocation connectivity with in-rack and cross-connect capabilities
  • Cloud connectivity supporting both domestic and global cloud providers

The network is underpinned by a highly resilient architecture, featuring:

  • Four strategically located points of presence (PoPs)
  • One ultra-low latency (ULL) PoP
  • Diverse routing paths optimized for performance-sensitive trading workflows

Customer Programs

To ensure a smooth transition:

  • Existing customers benefit from continuity-aligned pricing and migration support
  • New customers can take advantage of onboarding programs, including billing holiday incentives
  • Connectivity between the existing and new SGX sites is available to facilitate phased migration

Enabling Global Market Access

IPC has also optimized low latency routes to key financial hubs, including Hong Kong, Japan, and Australia, ensuring clients maintain performance and resiliency across regional trading ecosystems.

“IPC is committed to ensuring our clients experience a seamless transition to the new SGX infrastructure, with high-performance, low-latency connectivity across extranet, colocation, and cloud environments,” said Juhan, Png, Area VP, Asia Pacific.
